ampt
Relive the Winamp era with a lightweight macOS audio player that stays out of your way. Drag, drop, play—your playlist persists across sessions.
How It Works
ampt is a Winamp-inspired audio player that brings the simplicity and nostalgia of classic desktop music players to modern macOS. It's designed to be lightweight and stay out of your way while you listen.
Getting Started
- Add your music — Drag audio files or entire folders onto the window. You can also click the + button to browse.
- Play — Double-click any track to start listening. The compact UI shows artist, title, and album from ID3 metadata.

- Adjust volume — Hover near the volume area to reveal a sliding drawer with the volume slider.
